Who would have thought we would live through a pandemic? Covid-19 has been such a global experience. Hubs and I have been in isolation since 17-MAR-2020 (Tuesday) and that makes it a total of 6 weeks as of today. Who knows when this will end but looking at the number of reported cases, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
This weekend, shops were absolutely crowded like it was any other weekend pre-Covid19. Not sure what that means – Covid-19 is coming to an end in Australia? or Everyone is just exhausted from being home and thus not caring? Even the supermarkets are not controlling traffic anymore.
Most people are still very cautious and continue to maintain social distancing which is great to see because you can never be too safe. The number of cases are going down and we all would like for it to stay that way so let’s not be complacent coz the last thing we want to hear is that it goes back up due to negligence.
This has impacted so many people, businesses and lives. I only pray that things will soon be back to normal for all of us and may God give the strength to all that have been affected.
As the title says, Ramadhan 2020. What a Ramadhan to remember. We can’t go to the Masjid and even visit relatives during Eid. It even feels weird saying that and almost insensitive considering all that is happening right now. I really do hope that whoever is reading this and is in need of help, please do not hesitate to reach out and I will do my best to assist even if it is something as small as providing you with a box of cereal for breakfast, or a pack of rice for you to get through the day.
Please take care and stay safe.
